Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills – 90 hour course
This is a course written by Carol Harmston-Dean and quality checked by the National Counselling Society.
It is expected that students will have attended the Introduction to Counselling Skills course before undertaking this qualification. This course covers the following areas:
- Counselling skills and techniques
- Personal reflection and increase self awareness
Starting date: Wednesday 3 January 2018
End date: Wednesday 20 June 2018
Evening: Wednesday evenings 18:15-21:15
Saturdays: 20 January, 3 March, 21 April, 12 May, 16 June, 09:30-16:30
No sessions during school half-term plus break over Easter
Venue: Cadet Hut, Chesterton Community College, Gilbert Road, Cambridge, CB4 3NY
Cost: £1000 per person – all inclusive, no hidden extras! (A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required by the end of December, prior to the start of the course)
Equipment required: Paper, pen and an A4 file for handouts/resources

Payment can be made by cash, cheque or BACS payment and can be made in full by an upfront payment to the value of the course noted above, or by instalments or direct debits (details of which given upon receipt of booking form).
