JHD Introduction to Counselling Skills Course (2 Week Short Course)
This course is suitable for anyone, of any age, wishing to improve their communication skills in the workplace or personal life, as well as providing the initial step towards counselling training. This course is set to take place over two consecutive Saturdays making it an easily accessible short course for everyone!
It covers the basic counselling skills including listening, reflecting and summarising and provides a safe and confidential environment for self-development and personal reflection.
About the Trainer:
Trainer: Isha Mehta
Isha is a member of the JHD counselling team, with specialisms in cultural identity & generational impact, mental health, self-esteem, suicide, transitioning through life stages, and young people.
Date: Saturday 6 and 13 June
Location: via Zoom
N.B. Refreshments provided but students will need to bring their own lunch.
