A one-day comprehensive, training in body image, facilitated by Harriet Frew (Accred; MBACP Therapist; MSc Nutrition).

Harriet brings 16 years of experience of working with eating disorders and body image concerns, from working in an NHS specialist eating disorder service and private practice.

Harriet has been featured in Psychologies Magazine; Mail Online; Planet Mindful and Boots Health and Beauty Magazine.

Who is the course for?

This is a course for counsellors, nutritionists or other mental health professionals, seeking to improve their knowledge and skills in working with clients with body image concerns.

What will I gain from the training?

On this training, you will learn about how we develop body image, exploring different factors contributing to this. Harriet will then take you through specific knowledge, skills and techniques, which can be used when supporting clients to help them improve body image and self-esteem. Harriet is an Integrative Counsellor, utilising skills predominantly from Motivational Enhancement Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. She also draws on other tools that are particularly helpful in working with this client group.

This training will give you:-

Confidence to engage and work with this client group.
